| Since
childhood Kazuhiro Adachi has been exposed to various cultures
which ingrained in him both rich and varied experiences.
He was born in Australia in 1977. Adachi spent his life
moving with family between Japan and Australia, also residing
in Bahrain for several years, before he chose to remain
in the United States in 1995.
In
2000, Adachi graduated from the University of the Pacific,
Stockton, California, where he studied ceramics and sculpture.
In the summer of 2000 he apprenticed at the Marble Carving
Workshop in Pietrasanta, Italy. He continued his studies
at New York Academy in New York City where he received a
Masters Degree in Drawing in 2004. He currently lives and
works in New York.
Adachi
has exhibited drawings in group exhibitions at Medialia
Gallery, New York, since 2004. He was awarded the CAST BRONZE
AWARD at the FIRST INTERNATIONAL MEDALLIC SCULPTURE COMPETITION
