New
Approach Inc. is a nonprofit organization. One mission
of New Approach is to provide exhibition opportunities
to emerging artists. Since 2002, gallery director Mashiko
Nakashima has curated two shows for the month of June
exhibiting the work of emerging artists. All the artists
are capable of articulating their unique statements
through their chosen mediums. They express their worlds
through well trained and competent techniques.

This
show includes, medallic and pedestal sculpture, and
maquettes for public sculpture. The work was creatred
by emerging artists for both actual and imagined clients.
Three of the four artists studied at The University
of the Arts, Philadelphia.
