BERENDINA DE RUITER
Australia

Berendina de Ruiter, was born in 1942 in the Netherlands. She has also lived in Germany and migrated to Australia in 1981.
She studied in Canberra at the Canberra Institute of Art, majoring in sculpture. She graduated in 1985.

Was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2001. Works full time in her studio in Canberra and travels to Europe every second year for 3 to 4 months to work in Pietrasanta (Italy), Germany, and Holland.
