Medialia
... Rack and hamper Gallery Director, Mashiko Nakashima, organized
the first ADJUSTABLE SCULPTURE exhibition in 1996. As an independent
curator, she began this unique exhibitions as an internationally
traveling exhibition. Since 2003, entitled ADJUSTABLE OBJECTS,
it has become one of Medialia's annual exhibitions, in which
the viewer becomes part of the artists's creation. This year,
the exhibition focuses on CHESS. International artists have
created chess sets as transformable objects, as well as interpreted
the concept of the game in a wall-hanging format. |
